Sadolin Extra is a durable, translucent wood protection for all softwood and hardwood and is particularly suitable for joinery such as doors and windows, where its flexible nature, UV-filter and water repellence provide a long lasting protection of the surface.
Sadolin Extra protects effectively against blue stain and surface moulds and provides a semi-gloss finish which enhances the natural beauty of the wood.
Preparation Please ensure that the wood is clean and dry. It is recommended to carry through a trial application before start as the final colour will depend on the original colour, the condition of the timber and the number of coats applied.
Clean resinous wood with cellulose thinners before application.
Application Stir well before and during application and apply by soft brush. Do not apply at temperatures below 5?C and do not thin. Two coats (minimum) are recommended on new wood.
Colourless Extra is not recommended as a complete treatment or a final coat
Drying Time Touch dry: 5-7 hours
Repainting: Suitable for repainting in 12 – 24 hours.
Coverage Approximately 12-15m2/litre on planed wood.
Cleaning Clean the brushes immediately after use in white spirit.
