Sadolin PV67 Sealer

Sadolin PV67 can only be used on bare timber and timber stained with a low build wood stain which has dried properly. To ensure compatibility we recommend making a trial application.

Preparation
Floors, previously treated with PV67, where the finish is in good condition only need to be sanded lightly before the application of Sadolin PV67 as long as the surface is free from grease, polish etc. If the previous floor finish contains wax, has been damaged or is very uneven, the floor should be sanded back to bare wood. All resinous wood has to be treated immediately after sanding to bare wood. Pine wood with a large amount of heartwood has to be sealed with Sadolin PV67 Sealer to avoid a reddish tinge. If Sadolin PV67 is applied on stained floor, please make sure that the stains are solvent based and have dried properly, normally for 3-5 days.

Application
Shake the containers well before mixing. Mix sufficiently material in a ratio of 10 parts of Sadolin PV67 to 1 part of Sadolin Hardener. Avoid forming air bubbles during the mixture. The mixture can be stored for up to 24 hours in closed container kept at temperatures at 20?C. Apply Sadolin PV67 evenly and slowly to avoid the formation of air bubbles by using a brush or mohair roller. Avoid sanding between the coats except when the removal of dust or dirt is necessary.

Drying Time
Touch dry: 1-2 hours.
Repainting: Subsequent coats can be applied after 2 - 4 hours.

Coverage
Approximately 10-12m2/litre
